A prayer for our Michael and Zachary

We, the family of Michael Ackman, ask you to please take a few minutes and pray for his recovery. Mike is 21 years old and had a snowmobile accident on March 16, 2004 and suffered a traumatic brain injury which affects his entire body. Mike is totally dependent in a wheel chair, has limited movement and is only now able to speak a few words. He is making strides of improvements. His parents leave no rock unturned as far as specialists and therapists of many kinds. Mike comprehends what people are saying and is learning use a computer to help him communicate.

He receives cranial restructuring therapy, cranial sacral therapy, cold laser therapy, speech, occupational and physical therapies. He also receives weekly treatments in a hyperbaric oxygen chamber. Mike has come a long way in three years and we all believe this is due to his family's and friend’s persistence and PRAYER. We are asking you help us with the prayer part of this long recovery period for Mike.

We are also the family of Zachary Henry who was diagnosed with an optic glioma brain tumor when he was 4 months old. He will be 3 years old on November 17, 2007 and is undergoing weekly chemo treatments as he has since he was first diagnosed. We ask you take time to pray for his recovery. Zachary's tumor is still growing. We need strong prayers for him. He is just the sweetest little boy who plays as if nothing is wrong. Zachary's parents are equal to Mike's parents as they also have left no stone unturned to help their beautiful little boy.

Please heal our young guys, Michael and Zachary, Help them overcome the tribulations which they are enduring at this time. Please keep them strong and able to fight what has been inflicted upon them. We ask you watch over them and guide their parents along these long rocky paths they are walking to help their children. Bless their families who have dedicated their lives to help their children. We pray you, our Lord, will show a way for our young people to recover and be with us as we pray they will be. We thank you, Lord, for all the prayers you have answered in our lifetimes here on Earth. We know you hear us and answer us in your way and in your time. We pray you hear us along with our many friends and families and pray it will be your will to completely heal Michael and Zachary in body, mind, and spirit. We love you and we love our families, in Jesus Christ's name. Thank you, Amen!”

We ask each of you to help us by PRAYING and please pass this to as many people as you can. Please keep Michael and Zachary in your daily prayers today and every day. We know God is listening. We just need to talk to him.
